We have recently been awarded the FIVE STAR Food Hygiene rating by Bracknell Forest Borough Council.

Teddies Nursery, Bracknell, is located within the Forest Park area of Bracknell by the Horndean Road shops and Community Centre with nearby access to the M3, M4, A322 and A329. Parking is available in front of the nursery for easy collection and drop off.

Our Baby care section has two open plan play rooms with a separate sleep room for younger babies, a milk preparation room and changing room. The baby care unit provides babies and toddlers with a rich learning environment, with appropriate activities planned to maximise motor, sensory and cognitive experiences. Babies have lots of areas to investigate and engage with, including a black and white Sensory Area, a mirrored play area and a cosy snug.

Our Little Learners (2-3 year olds) have lots of fun with a child-friendly, structured day including garden time, music and dance and group activity time. Children in this room learn new skills such as using a knife and fork, pouring their own drinks, and dressing themselves, and social interaction. Our pre-school learning environment (for 3 – 5 year olds) has well-planned spaces allowing for play in small groups, and adult-led activities lay down firm foundations for the transition into “big school”. Children in this room are learning to become independent, and are introduced to school subjects like reading, writing, maths and science.

The nursery has a fully equipped, secure garden for outdoor play and learning, complete with playhouse, willow trees and gazebo. Here staff and children enjoy digging and planting, and in the summer we hold picnics, sports days and themed fun days.

Teddies Nursery prides itself in providing social meal times with all the tables, chairs and high chairs at the same low level to encourage communication and interaction. Meals are included in nursery fees, as are branded nappies, nappy cream, bottles and should a parent wish, a formula milk of your choice.
