Teddies Bexleyheath is located within a period building, set within an acre of beautiful woodlands just five minutes from Bexleyheath Train Station and Broadway Shopping Centre, and close to Splash World swimming pool and sports centre. We offer easy collection and drop off from our car park at the front of the nursery.

At our most recent Ofsted inspection in May 2011, Teddies Bexleyheath received an overall rating of "Outstanding"!

Teddies Bexleyheath is a warm, welcoming nursery for babies and children under five. Our baby care unit provides separate milk kitchen, sleep room and changing facilities ensuring babies can follow their familiar routines, as they would at home. Babies feel comfortable and cosy in our specially designed baby rooms - everything is at their level, and they can enjoy exploring their surroundings with lots of low level furniture and resources in place to aid their development as they get ready to be more mobile.

In our toddler rooms, we aim to encourage the development of children’s independence – they are encouraged to choose their own activities, and given small responsibilities, such as caring for the nursery fish. For our two to three year olds, there is free flow access into their individual outdoor areas, where they enjoy activities like cooking and messy play, and in our spacious outdoor area, pre-schoolers can enjoy bird watching from the play house, take care of the plants or have some quiet time in one of our ‘cosy’ areas.

The nursery’s pre-school children are given an introduction into topics such as pre- reading, emergent writing, science and maths, all of which form a solid foundation for school, building their confidence and future life skills. Our pre-school children are supported well when getting ready for the transition to ‘big school’ with lots of preparatory activities taking place to aid this. When the time comes to make that move, Teddies Bexleyheath children receive a lovely ‘send off’ at our annual School Leaver’s Graduation, where parents can come and share in the nursery saying good bye to the children.

Teddies Bexleyheath offers a ‘home from home’ environment – our nursery fees include branded nappies, wipes, nappy cream, bottles and, should a parent wish, a formula baby milk of choice. In the summer months, we also provide sunscreen for little ones.
