Teddies Nursery in Beckenham, Kent, is within a quiet residential area, conveniently located just a short walk from Elmers End train and tram station and local bus routes.

The nursery has a baby care unit with separate changing facilities, sleeping room and milk kitchen. At Teddies Beckenham, babies can follow their familiar routine as they would at home but they can also take part in a range of activities to help them develop and learn at their own pace.

Our day care nursery has two adjoining rooms for each age group, which enables us to care for our children in the smaller group sizes that we know they benefit from. Our Little Learners Unit takes part in an assortment of activities including messy play, music and movement, singing, and sand and water.

Teddies Beckenham also has a Learning Centre unit where older children are introduced into subjects such as: reading, writing, maths, science and IT. We’ve found that this is an excellent way to boost our children’s confidence and independence, in preparation for the move up to school!

Our nursery has a large, attractive outdoor play space with different sections for different age groups, so all children can access the garden at the same time, and play safely with friends their own age.

At Teddies Beckenham, we particularly encourage all of our babies and children to take part in activities and games together – this helps social activity and development and gives our nursery a warm ‘family atmosphere’. We also like to go on regular outings to local shops and parks to learn about the community and the larger world around us – there’s never a dull moment for children at Teddies Beckenham!

Our nursery fees include branded nappies, nappy cream, bottles and, should a parent wish, a formula baby milk of your choice.
