Teddies Basingstoke Nursery is located in a substantial, converted detached house situated next-door to Basingstoke shopping centre, with close links to both bus and train stations and perfectly situated for access to the Library, Museum and the Anvil.

With a self contained baby area and separate milk kitchen, changing facilities and sleep room, babies can follow their familiar routine as they would at home. For children over two, we offer a wide range of activities, resources and play areas to encourage growing abilities and skills. Children up to the age of five are introduced to subjects such as reading, writing, maths, science and ICT - we encourage them to become self-sufficient in dressing, toileting and eating - promoting independence and preparing them for the journey to school.

At Teddies Basingstoke we encourage all children to take part in activities and games. We also have our own outdoor area where the children take part in physical play activities – with space where we plant and grow our own flowers, fruits and vegetables – creating the perfect opportunity for learning about nature and healthy eating.

Teddies children venture forth on regular outings - our nursery is located near to two fantastic local parks which our children love to visit Eastrop Park and the War Memorial Park, with plenty of opportunity to get active – playing on swings and slides, and to feed the ducks!

We also have regular visits to the local residential home and churches, extending children’s knowledge of the world around them. Seasonal outings/events include the Christmas Pantomime, sports day, and end of year graduation – parents are very welcome.

Nursery fees include branded nappies, nappy creams, bottles, and, should a parent wish, a formula milk of your choice.
