Livingston Nursery is an established nursery located in the quiet, semi-rural area of Murieston. Within the nursery’s spacious and bright rooms our team of highly qualified childcare professionals offer safe, stimulating environments suitable for babies and children ranging from three months upwards. With small groups separated by age, each child at Livingston is treated individually, growing and developing at their own pace.

A range of activities are offered to nursery children, supporting their growing abilities and skills, including story time, creative and messy play. Pre-school children at Livingston take their first steps towards academic life with an introduction to school subjects like reading and writing, maths, science and art. All activities are extended outdoors into our large garden, where children can enjoy our excellent range of play resources, safely exploring and learning about the world around them.

In addition to the great work done by Livingston staff, we also work with partner agencies to support children’s individual needs and bring in extra-curricular groups so that children receive the best teaching in all areas – from health and fitness sessions promoting physical activity, to new language experiences like French, or Caterpillar music sessions.

Livingston Nursery strives to promote an inclusive environment for all families and staff. We work to actively forge strong links with all of our families, through projects, storytelling and activity sessions, encouraging everyone to be very much part of nursery life. Individual key workers often develop strong bonds with their key children and parents, and we have regular Parent Partnership meetings. Our Family Fun Days and Easter Egg Hunts are popular occasions that bring parents, children and nursery staff together!
