Saffron Walden County High School is a local comprehensive school of exceptional quality and achievement, with a reputation for excellence. The County High currently has 1,850 pupils on roll, including 360 in the Sixth Form, and demand for places from outside the catchment area is high.

Crocus Early Years Centre is situated in the grounds of the County High. It is operated independently of the School, but with the blessing and support of the Headmaster and Governors.

The close proximity creates many opportunities for the nursery and school to work together, including work experience placements and links with school activities such as the Farm Club.

We also reserve a number of discounted places, on special terms, for County High School staff.
