Crocus Early Years Centres are now proud to be part of the Bright Horizons Family Solutions family of centres.

Crocus Early Years Centre managed by Bright Horizons Family Solutions operates our day nurseries in partnership with Great Cornard Upper School; Saffron Walden Country High School and Wellcome Trust Genome Campus. Our goal is to create centres of excellence in care and education.

We operate two school-based nurseries: at Saffron Walden County High School (85 places) and Great Cornard Upper School (50 places). The latter was chosen as the UK's Day Nursery of the Year for 2006. These are independent of the schools but have the strong support of their head teachers and governors. There are many benefits to a nursery-school partnership, from co-operation on matters like catering to work experience placements for school students and the availability of quality childcare for school staff.

The majority of the places at these nurseries are open to all.

We also manage a 75 place nursery at the prestigious Wellcome Trust Genome Campus, based at Hinxton Hall near Cambridge. This is primarily a workplace nursery for the children of campus staff but places are also available to those who live or work in the locality.
