We are delighted to announce that Bright Horizons in Scotland has once again been listed as one of Scotland’s Best Workplaces by the Great Place to Work® Institute - at number 4!

Scotland’s Best Workplaces Awards honour and recognise organisations that have achieved outstanding effectiveness in people excellence. We are the only childcare organisation to be listed as one of Scotland’s Best
Workplaces, reflecting our commitment to being a thought leader in our sector.

In addition to our Best Workplace Award, we received two special awards for Excellence in Leadership and Excellence in Diversity.

The Leadership Award, which is endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Management, celebrates organisations that champion caring and creative management teams focused on improving the quality of the workplace experience of their employees. We are very proud of the judges' comment, "The caring and developmental environment expected by parents for their children is mirrored in the efforts of the management team’s responsibility for their employees. What they have achieved has been implemented with real passion and enthusiasm."

The Diversity Award is endorsed by One Workplace Equal Rights and recognises organisations which demonstrate a genuine sense of meritocracy and go beyond compliance to promote equal opportunities and encourage diversity in the workplace. The judges praised our "caring culture with innovative practices. (Their) policy of involving and engaging clients and staff in shaping its diversity and inclusion work makes it stand out in this regard."

Being named a Best Workplace by the Great Place to Work® Institute, and receiving the Leadership and Diversity Awards means a great deal to Bright Horizons. We are so proud of the talented people who work for us, and to know that they in turn have so much pride in the work they do, trust in our leadership and feel they can bring their whole selves to work is very important to us.
